We are 2 women and 2 dogs. We live in Golden Bay, between Takaka and Pohara beach on a 1/2 acre property with gardens and a chicken run.
It has vegetable gardens and flower gardens and we need help maintaining these.
We do not want to host single men and would prefer mature workawayers, at least to be over 30.

We have a shared area where we all prepare and eat meals and relax and chat.
We need help maintaining the garden. Mostly mowing, weeding and maintenance. Maybe some wood stacking or painting

We have a sleepout away from the house that has a double bed. Its very cute and private. However it has no facilities as the kitchen and bathroom is in the main house 20 metres away.
We also have a double room in the house that is usually available.
We are close to beaches (900m away) 7km from Takaka and 20 minutes drive from Abel Tasman national park. There are many walks and hikes that travellers can do on their time off. We have some bicycles you can borrow and there is a cycle track to Takaka and the beach. Or its pretty easy to hitchhike around.
We are quite relaxed and would like travellers that are relaxed too. We are not vegetarian.
You must love dogs as our three are our family. We have 2 girls (Edie 10 and Bean 2) and a boy (Eric 1) who is deaf and a bit exuberant. Theyre good dogs on the whole, Eric understands some sign language but gets very excited when we have people visit or stay and becomes your constant companion lol. Theybare very funny, fun dogs. Ideally you are not afraid of chickens - ours are very friendly and escape a lot. They will run up to you so if you are afraid of them Im sure it would be a bit frightening.
