Descripción
We are a small scale intentional community and permaculture farm located in Karangahake. There is 21 in the community with a number of young hippy families endeavoring to live self-sufficiently. The property is perfectly positioned to get to the Coromandel, Karangahake Gorge, Waihi Beach, Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.
We are off-grid, have large gardens, a stream for cooling off, have a large board game collection, playing field for sports such as soccer, touch rugby, badminton & volleyball.
Some of the skills we hope to teach volunteers is how to grow/preserve/cook healthy food, earth build, co-living and how to party! We have fire circle dance parties and hope to have more in the future!
We have 2 goats and a number of chickens. In the near future we plan to have a nanny cow, horses, sheep and other animals.
Matt and Amy have hosted backpackers before so have had plenty of experience hosting Workawayers.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We like to dance and celebrate solstices and full moons. We love to play sports. We like to share our local history and culture. We can teach growing food, earth building, and all of the above customs and sports.
