Descripción
Volunteering here is unlike any other work-exchange experience. You won't just be passing through — you'll become a genuine part of how this place breathes and functions.
Our community is a living ecosystem: guests on transformative retreats, dedicated staff, Aaron, Alex, our animals, local vendors, tour guides, drivers, and the web of people who keep this place alive on the Osa Peninsula. As a volunteer, you step into that world alongside all of them.
We typically look for people who can teach yoga and bring at least one of the additional skills listed below. Please read through that section carefully before reaching out.

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
Volunteering here is a great way to immerse yourself into three worlds simultaneously.
1. You get to help side by side with our local team. You will get to practice your Spanish and experience the Pura Vida.
2. Being a yoga retreat, you will be immersed in yoga for the length of time that you stay here.
3. You are immersed in a jungle paradise. We are located right next to the Corcovado National Park, which is said to contain 2.5% of all the earth's bio diversity.

We look for volunteers who are yoga teachers and can also contribute in one of the roles below. If you're ready to trade your everyday life for something extraordinary — read on.
Position 1 — Writer & Content Creator
Are you a skilled yoga teacher and an experienced content creator? If you're craving an extended escape to a stunning ocean-front eco-retreat on the Osa Peninsula — and you love to write — this might be your calling.
What you'll do:
- Write professional, engaging blogs, emails, social media posts, and sales copy optimized for search (SEO best practices a must — ask us for sample blog links)
- Create and upload content across WordPress, Canva, Simplero, Google Docs/Sheets, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Capture photos and video footage and edit for marketing use
- Teach the community yoga class at 4 pm daily (when guests are present)
- Contribute wherever your genius zone takes you
Who you are:
You're a Type-A creative — driven, focused, and intentional. You love getting things done and thrive working alongside someone with equal energy and ambition.
To apply, send us:
1. Your professional resume
2. Social media links
3. Samples of past work (blogs, marketing copy, published content)
4. A short note on why you're a fit
Position 2 — Social Media Strategist & Content Creator
You're a yogi who loves creating content, connecting with people, and can work both independently and as part of a team. As our Social Media Strategist and Content Creator, you'll be the visual voice of this place — showcasing the vibrant life here in a way that's authentic, fun, and magnetic.
What you'll do:
- Post Stories throughout the day; publish 5–7 feed posts per week on Instagram and Facebook
- Publish SEO-driven blogs every Monday and Friday to drive website traffic
- Analyze our Meta Business page weekly and deliver a detailed progress report to the team every Friday
- Capture retreats, classes, and gatherings in action — building our content library and sharing footage organically with guests
- Produce high-quality Reels and video ads for social media
- Create compelling content to attract students to upcoming Yoga Teacher Trainings
- Help care for our dogs — morning and evening walks to/from their kennels
- Teach the community yoga class at 4 pm daily (when guests are present)
- Spend time with guests at meals — answering questions, building connections, and making everyone feel genuinely welcome
You'll be a bridge between staff and guests — an ambassador for everything this place represents. You'll work 5 hours on weekdays, with weekends free.
To apply, send us:
1. Your social media links
2. Direct links to reels, past work, or anything that showcases what you can do
3. A short note on why you're a fit
What's included for all volunteers:
*Ground transportation to/from Puerto Jiménez on arrival and departure

Nate is a genuinely caring individual who is passionate about leaving his environment/community better than when he arrived. He is an enthusiastic and passionate worker who is eager to do his best. I can only hope that he will return one day to us.
We can't wait to welcome them back in a couple of months!
