I am looking for volunteers to help me from 25th July 2018 until September 2018.I am a single Mum working as a paediatric intensive care nurse with a lively 12 year old daughter. I live in a 3 bedroom house in a quiet road close to bus routes in to Auckland or Henderson. My daughter's school is a 30 minute bus ride away. She loves computers, tap dancing, art, gymnastics, swimming, animals, and making friends. I like swimming, reading, music, cooking, knitting. We have no pets and it is a strictly non-smoking household.

I need help looking after my daughter while I am working before and after school. I do work weekends and nights so volunteers will need to cover weekends for me but will have days off during the week.. I also need help with housework, cooking, doing the shopping and keeping the garden tidy.

Henderson is close to the Waitakere Ranges with marvellous views across Auckland, bush walks and access to West Coast beaches. Henderson has a lively shopping centre with a library, swimming pool and cinema and lots of cafes and restaurants. We can offer someone a temporary home and a chance to practice English. Mum speaks fairly good French, some German and Italian. My daughter is keen to learn Spanish.
