  My name is Thomas, and together with my partner Lucia, we live in a large house with extensive garden space in the beautiful village of Thiersee. Our village is ideally located between Munich, Innsbruck, and Salzburg, all of which have airports, making travel easy.
  
  Thiersee is a perfect place to be active. There are hiking tours all around. A lake is close by (also many others). And in winter, there is a great spot to practice skiing or snowboarding. We also have a big ski area 35 minutes away by car—if you are really into the sport!
  
  Our children are 6, 3, and 1.
  
  It’s best if you speak German, at least a little bit—it makes things easier with the children at the moment.
  If you arrive with your own car and if you are active, you will have full flexibility.
  
  We prefer a stay of min 2 weeks or more, less is generally too much effort for us.
  A driving licence is necessary. If you have your own car it is much better to come around for you - because there would be a lot to see and experience.

  Some language exchange. We speak German and English fluently.
  Household support: Tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry are always appreciated and the main part of the stay.
  Childcare: Helping the children with foreign languages, playing with them.
  Garden work: We want to grow a lot of vegetables soon in the garden. (not in winter)
  Animal care: We have 8 chicken and 2 cats
  
  For your accommodation, we have various options: a big tipi for the adventurous people, a tent, space for a camper van, or a guest room in the house.
  
  Our location offers a beautiful view of a lake ("Thiersee") and the "Wilder Kaiser and Zahmer Kaiser." Hiking, biking, and skiing in the mountains can be done right from our doorstep. In the summer, we often take trips to lakes or go camping ourselves.

  We live very healthily and eat exclusively organic food. We always cook fresh, preferably with vegetables and fruit from our own garden. We mainly have vegetarian meals.

  You have the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings: the mountains and lakes, as well as the cultural highlights of Kufstein, including the impressive fortress. Enjoy hikes in the Kaiser Mountains, possibly even multi-day tours with overnight stays in mountain huts, or camp by the lake.
  
  Our village offers traditional festivals, especially in summer, featuring lots of culture, traditional attire, and live music. Innsbruck is only 40 minutes away by train, and Munich is about an hour away if you prefer city experiences.
  
  There are numerous sports activities you can do in the mountains. At the same time, you can also enjoy relaxing hours by the lake, in cafés, or in the garden at home – perhaps with a book in the hammock. There are many beautiful options for your leisure time.

  Help Requested from Travellers
  We need help with everyday tasks in and around our home. The work is light and leaving plenty of time for personal activities. Your tasks could include:
  
  Daily Tasks:
  Cleaning the kitchen after lunch and dinner.
  Tidying the children’s play area.
  Preparing the ground floor for nightly robot vacuum cleaning.
  Doing laundry if needed.
  
  Twice a Week Tasks:
  Cooking vegan/vegetarian meals.
  Playing or doing learning activities with the children.
  
  Weekly Tasks:
  Taking out waste and recycling.
  Deep cleaning bathrooms.
  We adapt tasks to your skills and are happy to teach you if needed. There is a lot of free time to explore the beautiful Tirol region, and we’re happy to give you tips or organize activities.

  SLEEPING:
  We offer a unique and comfortable tent like this one, with an extra sleeping cabin for you and your partner.
  
  Additionally, there is plenty of space for your own tent if you prefer.
  
  You are welcome to bring your camper van and stay either in the parking space in front of the house or in the garden.
  
  We also have a room available inside the house.
  
  
  BATH and TOILETS
  For those who enjoy relaxation, we also offer a sauna. If you prefer a refreshing cold wash, you can use the garden water, or opt for a warm bath inside the house - you will have your own bathroom - since we have two and our family only uses one at the moment.
  
  
  FOOD:
  Lucia usually prepares a variety of healthy meals three times a day – in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. We enjoy eating together, especially for lunch and dinner.
  
  If you enjoy cooking, you're welcome to prepare vegetarian or vegan meals for everyone upon arrangement. We are also very interested in tasting specialties from your home country, so feel free to share your culinary traditions with us!
  
  We have a large fire pit, perfect for grilling or enjoying cozy evening fires. It's a wonderful way to relax and unwind, letting the evenings come to a warm and pleasant close.

  Daily buses from the village take you to the lake or into the town of Kufstein. From Kufstein, you have the option to take the train to Innsbruck or Munich.
  
  From our home, you can start hikes or go on mountain bike tours or go skiing. Many of the hiking trails have excellent guesthouses along the way, offering beautiful panoramic views.
  
  In your free time, you can embark on multi-day tours in the Kaisergebirge.
  
  If you have the appropriate license, you can use our 125 cc scooter for your activities. We are also happy to drive you somewhere or include you in our weekend activities.
  
  The most flexibility you have if you arrive with your own car.
