Over the years we have been welcoming travelers from all around the world and we are very lucky to have met amazing people who are part of our Family by now. Our House is a peaceful and wonderful nest in the heart of Budapest for those who are seeking tranquility and open to social interactions at the same time.
We opened our doors to dear fellow travelers 1992 as a Backpacker Guesthouse, since happily growing and enjoying to share fun days and joyful moments with friends, guests and with the members of our team in a family like atmosphere in a fun, cozy, creative and tidy environment.

Our focus is to provide a cozy and tranquil atmosphere to make our guests and you feel at home, in a well cared, tidy and clean envirement.
The house is well organised and fun, thanks to our committed team, all the creative guests and lovely long term stayers. The residence is spacious and colorful with a lovely zen garden which gives a unique and joyful experience in city life :)
You can learn more about hospitality and develop skills to work efficiently in a team and on your own in a hostel environment.

We are looking for experienced Workawayers to help at the reception and for cleaning the house ,
to provide a high quality service to our dear guests.
The task can be varied including:
• Reception / Cleaning work daytime, evening time,
- check in / out guests, using online booking systems, emails, handling payments
• Cleaning rooms/bathrooms and the communal areas of the house and garden
• Making/changing beds
• Keeping the house tidy and clean
• Doing laundry,ironing
About payment:
We are offering payment, is the minimum hourly wage of Hungary > 1000 HUF / hour
+ free accommodation in a 3 person shared dorm room ( this room is shared with other Workawayers )
We are prefering to host workawayers for a 2 month stay or longer :)
- Please note that our minimum required stay is 8 weeks -
- we are able to host individual workawayers/ no couples , nor group of people
We can host Workawayers who has valid visa entering and staying in Hungary.

I had a really pleasant stay here, everyone was so nice. The work was relax and flexible. I had the opportunity to do a lot of differents things for the first time, including check-ins. We even cooked some country related meals that were so delicious !

Budapest is known for its vast amount of intense party hostels, but this is not one of them which is exactly what I wanted! Overall I really enjoyed my time here.
