Hei! :)
My name is Ole. Me and my family have a farm in Norway, and we would love for someone, couple, friends or singles, brave enough to join the project of maintaining it!. :)
Our family consists of me, my parents, my sister and her 2 sons (and Shira & Turbo the cats). They have their own houses at the valley farm, so it'll be you guys and me embarking the different tasks on the farm close to the mountains. We are located in beautiful Gudbrandsdalen, north of Lillehammer.
Our plan is to tidy up the farm do s little cleaning of the farmhouse and other general tasks.
We would love someone who would love to live in a 1600 old timber cabin (now up to modern standards) in one of the worlds northern summer farm cabins. You'll experience loads of gorgeous nature, together with some general farm experience, woodchopping and cleaning everything from all the construction we have had. We also need help with maintaining the other houses on the farm so if you are interested in helping with cleaning of our private houses that would be awesome. The tasks at an old farm can be pretty much everything.
We live a quiet family life, and love to play some cards or to watch a movie if you're not planning a mountain hike!
We have had over a 200 guests through a period of 20 years, and love meeting new people from different cultures. We have had so many coming back so I take that as a sign that we're not totally awfull , hehe.

We will show you some Norwegian traditions and culture through serving you traditional dishes andthrough our daily life. Also we will give guidance in every process, hopefully helping you advance your mind- and skillset to master anything. We'll happily try to learn you some Norwegian as well! Hopefully you'll grow as a person with loades of new experiences here with us. :)

We have different kinds of accomodations depending on how many visitors we have with us at the moment. You'll either share a cabin or have your own. We'll see when we get closer to it.

This is in the "fairytale valley" where you can explore the nature with hikes to the mountains, fishing, tenting, swimming in the lakes and everything else nature here can bring you. You can also just relax home with us and play some card games or watch TV. :)

We have good 4G and 5G coverage with unlimited data. Speed is 3mb, but its good enough to stream a video.
