We are a small family run yard that produces show ponies and hunter ponies. Our own and a few for clients. We travel to horse shows in Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, England & Scotland.

We live in a lovely rural area with Belfast City only 20 minutes away by car. We live close to many bars and restaurants and are part of a large farming community. My daughter is the main rider at the yard and if you are small enough to ride ponies there is opportunity to exercise them on a daily basis. It’s a small yard with 6 ponies so not too much work!!!

Mucking out, feeding, bathing and exercising ponies. You must have experience with horses and be able to lunge, clean saddles & bridles and help with ponies at shows and at home. You must be able to work unsupervised. If you can bath, trim & plait ponies this would be an advantage.

Accommodation will be a bedroom in the family home. Shared bathroom, we can provide meals if you wish to eat with the family each day.

There is a good local bus service into Belfast and surrounding towns. Voted the best tourist attraction of 2018 ‘The Titanic Exhibition Centre’ is only 20 mins away by car. There are lots of really good local restaurants and areas of outstanding natural beauty close by.
