  I am a single mom to a 12 year old girl. I work full time as a recreation coordinator and keep myself quite busy. We love to get out and do things and explore the city.
  
  I have a small three bedroom townhome with 1.5 bathrooms. The third room is a smaller room with a twin bed and a desk. It is not big enough for a couple. We have a cat and a small dog. And in the summer there is an outdoor pool.
  We live on the edge of a forest, which is full of paths and fun to explore. The ‘downtown’ hub is just up the street. But it’s a fairly small city with not much of a nightlife or young scene. There is a bus system nearby that will get you downtown Vancouver. But it’s probably a 90 minute journey.
  
  My daughter rides horses regularly and loves to have someone accompany her on walks. She is a loving child that is active and kind. I have a love of books, craft beer, sunshine, camp fires, a good joint, and board games.
  
  Ideally looking for a young female to play with my daughter outside, go for walks, cook with, help her with routines, etc. think fun older sister role model type
  
  OR
  
  Someone who could be the handy type around the house. Think hang shelves, patch odd hole in wall, painting, or minor renovations.

  We live close to Vancouver where there is an array of gorgeous scenery.
  We enjoy being active and will take you anywhere we go.
  You will get hands on experience working with children and while she’s in school you will be free to explore the city. Or come to work with myself and learn about working in a school.
  We also spend a lot of time around horses.

  Ideally cook the odd meal, watch my daughter if I have a meeting or want to go out. She could really use a big sister type mentor to play basketball or volleyball outside with.

  Someone with some handy man type skills to do some basic maintenance or renovations like painting or patch a hole or install a new sink.

  I have a spare room with a single bed and desk and dresser. This will be your room although we have a bunch of personal stuff in there (winter clothes, etc). The bathroom is shared. There is a half bath on first floor as well.
  I’m not sure how food usually works, but my cookings skills are pretty basic.

  I live in Langley city. But am close to Vancouver and the gulf islands.
  The bus is close by. But if available I can drop you off as well.
  My daughter loves visitors and we have had exchange students that have felt like family. We look forward to learning about you. And sharing our home.
