  Hello Workawayers!
  
  This is a private homestead located in the south of Norway, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful landscapes. Here, we have a small kitchen garden where we cultivate a variety of vegetables and fruits for our own use to be a little more self-sufficient. Our garden is fully organic, using self-made compost. We have a few free-range sheep and chickens roaming over 2 acres of land. We are a family of 3: my wife Linn (1988), our daughter Astrid (2019) and myself Johnny (1980).

  I spend a lot of time working outdoor with clearing the cultural pastures, cutting trees, planting grass, fencing ect. We also have a small kitchen garden we like to work on. Besides that I do different landscaping projects here and maintenance. I'm also into more creative projects and like to create everything from music to wooden sculptures. My wife likes to sew clothes, decorate and spend time in the kitchen garden. But since she had to go through a severe cancer treatment for lymphoma in 2021, she now struggles with fatigue and does things at her own pace. As a result, I am mainly in charge of running this profile and organizing everything.

  There are many different tasks to do here. The tasks will vary from larger projects that will require some practical skills, to fixed tasks like mowing the lawn or feeding the animals. However, I do not accept sloppiness and I expect that you do your best. I'm patient and spend the necessary time to show you what you need to know. If you like to learn new stuff , I will gladly teach you. In general this is what we spend time on here:
  gardening, animal care, maintenance, landscaping, building projects, farming, art projects, music production...

  Alojamiento

  You will stay in the house and get your own room. We share bathroom, living room and kitchen. But you will often have the house for yourself, since we also have a second house nearby. There's a big garden with a deck, and also a swimming spot by the lake that you can use whenever you want.
  
  We provide all the groceries, and you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. The place is very suitable for enjoying outdoor meals and barbecues during the summer. Occasionally, we enjoy sharing a meal together, but this is entirely optional and flexible.

  We are new to this, but there has already been a lot of interest in our profile. Currently, we are trying to figure out what works best here. So far, I think this place is most suitable for workawayers traveling as couples, since it is a rural area and we will not always be around. Having your own car is also a huge plus, but none of this is necessary, and we are open to hosting anyone.
