Hi! We are an international education center based in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai.
Here, we focus mainly on outdoor education, community service, and meaningful learning experiences for children and young people.
We are looking for friendly, creative and flexible volunteers who would like to spend some time with us, share their ideas, and experience Chiang Mai in a different way.
Our work changes depending on our current programs. It may include:
* 🌿 Preparing outdoor education and community service activities
* 💡 Discussing and designing new activities and programs
* 🎨 Creating posters, simple promotional materials and activity plans
* 📝 Helping prepare program materials
* 🗣️ Occasionally supporting English conversation classes
* 🏕️ Joining weekend outdoor activities or camps when programs are running
* 🤝 Sharing your own skills, ideas, interests or cultural experiences
Our outdoor programs depend on student registrations, so there may not be an outdoor activity every weekend. Some weeks may be busier, while others may be very relaxed.
We ask for around 15 flexible hours per week.
There is no fixed daily schedule. We will discuss the week’s tasks together depending on our programs and your availability.
Even when there is not much work, you are still very welcome to stay with us. We value the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, hear different stories, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.
Your creativity and new perspectives can also help us develop new ideas for us.
Accommodation:
* Shared dormitory-style room (3–4 volunteers per room)
* Air conditioning and hot water
* Bunk-bed accommodation, similar to a youth hostel
* Shared kitchen and refrigerator
Volunteers are expected to help keep the dormitory, bathroom and kitchen clean.
Food: Meals are not provided.
Supermarkets, local markets, cafés and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away. You are welcome to use the shared kitchen to prepare your own meals.
We also occasionally organize international dinners together. 🍜
Transportation
Our campus is in Hang Dong, approximately 12 km from Chiang Mai city center.
You can reach us by:

* Yellow Songthaew (local shared taxi)
Please note that we do not provide airport pickup or daily transportation.
House Rules:
* No smoking on school property
* Dress appropriately when working with children
* Turn off lights, fans and air conditioning when not in use
* Keep shared areas clean and tidy
* Follow gas safety rules when using the kitchen
We welcome people who are:
* Friendly, positive and responsible
* Comfortable around children
* Flexible and willing to help
* Interested in outdoor education, community service and cultural exchange
* Able to communicate in English
* Curious and willing to share their own ideas
No formal teaching or outdoor education experience is required.
We are not looking for someone who simply wants to “work.” We hope to meet people who enjoy sharing, creating, exploring and connecting with others.

When I’m not busy, I can take you to different spots of the city/my neighborhood, like different hiking spots, different cafés etc.
We can also cook together sometimes and I can teach you how to cook Chinese and Thai food. You can also meet my friends because we eat together quite often :)
If there is an opportunity, I could bring you to camping sites with my local friends.. -

The work is very manageable and volunteers get a very good deal, by doing play-based english classes for less than 10hrs a week for free accommodation. Had a Wonderful time with Kelly. She was really kind. She did her best to show me around chiang Mai even if she was really busy. We spend some good time together with the other volunteers, shared food, drinks, and good conversation. The work was fun, we were together and not hard at all.
