Nick and Carolyn are great hosts and found a lot of other nice workawayers from all over the world that I stayed with. I had my own bedroom and two meals a day, the work was very interesting and I got to do a lot of carpentry stuff and after work there was always time to spend time with

Nick and Carolyn's place was nothing short of exceptional. From the work, to the area, to the company that we surrounded ourself with, everything was amazing. We were fortunate enough to stay with Nick and Carolyn for 5 weeks on their property in Ericeira. They both created a positive and constructive working environment, as well as a positive and
… read more loving living environment. By the end of our stay, we were looking for ways to extend our time there! The work we did included helping to build a deck, painting rooms, painting stairs, and other smaller construction tasks like installing fans and sinks. As far as the area, Ericeira is a beautiful beach town off of the coast of Portugal with a vibrant community and lots to do. We never had a moment of down time (in the best way) as we were always conversing with other workawayers, watching shows together, playing games, and exploring Portugal when we weren't working. As newbie workwayers, we were a little nervous of starting this new experience, but once we arrived, we were instantly at ease. We have made so many new friends from around the world along the way, including their little dog Paddington :). Again, we cannot recommend this workaway enough. Thank you Nick and Carolyn!

This was such a special place with such amazing people, and we can only speak very highly about this experience. Nick, Carolyn and Paddington of course, are very kind and welcoming people with such open hearts. The location is incredible, with lots of accessibility to neighboring towns, the ocean, Lisbon, and events happening around the area, there is always something to do and people to meet. For work we helped build a deck, paint, clean and many other little jobs.There was a great balance of work and play, never feeling overwhelmed or pressured to rush. The accommodation was very comfortable, we had our own apartment with a bathroom attached with a shared kitchen next door. Truly cannot recommend this place enough, we made lifelong friends here and we know that we will come back again one day <3Comentarios

Ronja and Manu were such a wonderful additional to our coliving house. They became the adoptive parents of our pup, paddington. It's hard to know who loved having them around more -- us or Paddington. They helped us build a new roof for our garage, made our garden look beautiful, and always showed up with a smile.
