Hi everyone!
My name is Yohana Lucky, though most people call me Yohana. I'm 20 years old and the youngest in my family. My love for exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures has been a constant passion of mine. Whether it's trying new foods, learning local customs, or mastering languages, I find joy in discovering what makes each place unique.
In my hometown of Malang, East Java, there's a deep-rooted pride in our cultural heritage. Visitors to our region have the opportunity to witness firsthand the intricate artistry of batik making, a traditional craft that has been passed down through generations. The vibrant patterns and colors tell stories of our history and identity. Alongside batik, our traditional dances showcase the grace and rhythm that define our cultural expressions.
My family has always been open and welcoming to people from all walks of life. We enjoy sharing our traditions and values, especially through experiences like introducing guests to the intricate process of making tempeh, a staple of our local cuisine. Through these interactions, we hope to foster understanding and appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our world.
One of our family's initiatives is an English Camp program designed for children aged 10 to 15. This program not only aims to improve language skills but also serves as a platform for cultural exchange. Children engage in interactive activities that not only enhance their English proficiency but also broaden their global perspectives. It's a rewarding endeavor for us as we witness young minds grow in confidence and understanding, bridging linguistic and cultural divides.
In essence, my journey is about embracing diversity, learning from others, and sharing the beauty of my heritage. Whether it's through exploring local traditions, participating in community programs, or welcoming visitors to our home, I believe in the power of cultural exchange to enrich lives and build connections that transcend borders.
I'm eagerly anticipating the chance to collaborate on projects, work together as a team, and expand our knowledge through shared experiences.

We offer the option to share rooms with other workawayers, promoting a friendly and communal atmosphere. Of course, if you prefer more privacy, we fully understand and can arrange for individual accommodations. Additionally, as part of our service, we provide three delicious local meal daily, ensuring you're well-fed and energized throughout your stay with us.

Should you wish to visit Bromo Mountain, Ijen Mountain, or Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, I can connect you with reputable tour agents I trust. During weekends, my family and I often explore fresh locales such as hot springs or waterfalls, sometimes accompanied by workawayers. These outings are a delightful opportunity to bond while discovering new and scenic destinations together.
