Descripción
This is a 147 acres farm in het rural area of Aliyavalai. We have around 10.000 coconut trees, different sections of livestock and 2 Tilapia ponds. Our livestock consists of Cows, Poultry, Rabbits, Ducks and do not forget our 3 Bullmastiff Dogs. We support the area and village by creating many jobs and women empowerment is for us a very important matter.
We have around 30 employees working in the farm, some of them stay also overnight. Many who are working in the farm are living in the village. We are a leading private farm in the North, between Killiochchi and Jaffna and always looking to host interested volunteers. I am originally from The Netherlands and together with my partner we are since several years developing our farm project in a professional scale.
The village and employees can learn a lot from volunteers like you.
