Google Coromandel New Zealand and you will discover the amazing things you can do around the area, loads of beaches, fishing, great ranges to go trekking in, horse riding, surfing. It is a summer playground. There are also a lot of hippie communities that you can visit too. There is also a surf school about 1 hour away.
