They all are truly amazing with Ellen and that displays in her presence!! She’s a beautiful sweet young girl! I loved spending my time with her and experience her everyday life!! They live in the beautiful Irish countryside, which I loved discovering by bike! And Clonakilty has a very special, warm atmosphere that made me feel at home too!!
All in all it has been the most wonderful Irish experience, I couldn’t have wished for any better!! I’m so thankful for my time spent with this loving family! We were so so happy to have Kim stay with us for 2 months earlier this summer. Kim is such a beautiful presence to have around the house. We LOVED having Lea with us last August - sorry i forgot to lèave feedback sooner. Lea was a constant pleasure to have in our home, she fitted in instantly and felt like just another member of our family. She braved the irish waters and explored on the bike. Ellen loved her and still talks about her, Lea's patience and firmness were the perfect
… read more balance. We had so many interesting conversations over the dinner table, we all missed her greatly when she left. There is always a bed here for her and we truely hope she visits us again. Thanks again Lea and i hope this year you have a great workaway experience too. xx

I spent a month and a half in Lisa and Kevin’s family last summer and it has been, for now, one of the best experiences of my life! I highly recommend you to join them to enjoy the vibrancy of their ‘sometimes crazy life’, as Lisa says.
Ellen is quite demanding and it can be a bit hard at first to understand what she wants; but once you know her
… read more a bit more you realise how lovely she is and how much love and happiness she brings you! She has a huge amount of energy to share and I miss her and her family a lot since I’m back to France.
Clonakilty is a nice colourful place with wonders to discover such as little cafés, lively pubs or quite beaches. Moreover, there are many Au Pairs who often go out so you can easily meet other people from other countries and make friends! It is also easy enough to visit other Irish places as you are free for the week-ends. Thus, I went to Cork, Dingle and Killarney. Lisa and Kevin made sure I was enjoying my stay by giving me advices about my visits and they lent my a bike so that I could explore the area.
It quickly felt like home to be a part of this wonderful family and I hope to come back soon! I had so many interesting talks with Lisa, Kevin and Lucy about the differences between our countries and cultures, about life in general and so much more! … read more adapting into their house wasn't difficult at all. I shared so many incredible memories with them that I'll cherish forever. Lucy is such a sweet and mature girl, she helped me settle in and get to know Ellen during the first few days, taught me how to surf and watched Harry Potter with me! Ellen requires a lot of energy, but it's worth it: her hugs are the best! Luna, Oreo and Cookie make the whole experience even better.
Clonakilty is a lovely town and I got to visit Cork, the Cliffs of Moher, Dublin, Beara and Kerry. Cork is definitely worth a visit! And a dip in the ocean is a must, as freezing as it is.
