    Accommodation and meals provided.
English is essential, Spanish speaking is a major bonus.
Have you got a passion for making a difference and have at least 8 weeks to volunteer? We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate people to help out.

We are a not for profit hotel and surf school with a sister home and a sister community project. As an overall foundation, we strive to change the lives of the disadvantaged children and young people in our care, through education, empowerment and community involvement.

Here, we focus mainly on our surf school and hotel facilities. We're looking for experienced surfers who can work alongside our team with surf classes as well as with our youth who visit weekly to swim and surf. Based on the coast of Mexico in an impoverished area, it's an exciting place to be full of hope and opportunity with the community!

We're also looking for general helpers around the hotel who can support us with taking care of the guests, maintenance, housekeeping and admin. We're especially hoping for those with experience who can help to bring new ideas and advice to our organisation. We're hoping to start working more closely with the community since closures from the pandemic affected our work, so those who have experience with working with children and the community, running projects, workshops and speciality classes would be amazing! Spanish with this would be essential.

We are also seeking a long-term team of hotel management with the possibility for paid position if the right person/people are found.

Get in touch today to find out a little bit more about who we are, what we do and how you can get involved.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Practice your Spanish with native speakers and immerse yourself in a completely untouristed area. Ideal location to learn to surf and help the community of the Foundation.

This project exists as an extension of our children’s refuge and community centre in Tapachula, home to 30+ children and youth aged between 8 and 21. All of the children living at Misión México have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. We work to provide a safe and secure family home to these children, offering them a second chance at life.

This project opened its doors in 2018 as a not-for-profit hotel, surf school and community outreach project. We work to spread our message of love, life and hope to the Villa del Sol community.

At our beach side community centre and children's home in Tapachula, we are looking for everything from keen surfers, artists and creative minds, maintenance/construction workers, farm hands and gardeners, and everything else in between!

We ask for a minimum of at least a 8 week commitment. We will provide you with a room in our volunteer apartment and lunch. You're welcome to stay as long as you like after the 8 week period, and most of volunteers do end up staying longer.

Due to the nature of our organisation we ask for our volunteers to provide a full police clearance check from their home country which is part of our wider application, as well as taking part in our COVID-19 quarantine policy.

As a non-profit, we ask our volunteers for a small donation per week to help with the cost of food and electricity etc. We ask for a minimum commitment of 8 weeks, to help our maintain a healthy routine for our children, team and community.

We offer a bed in our shared volunteer accommodation, with a shared bathroom. You will also have free use of our fully fitted outdoor kitchen, laundry room, swimming pool, billiards table and surfboard collection. We also offer surf lessons at a discounted price to enjoy in your free time.

We eat our main meal (lunch) all together, and take turns cooking/cleaning up.

If you are unable to pay the donation but still want to join us, we would happily find something that works for both of us; for example if you chose to provide your own food/or work different hours to those advertised.
