We are a passionate enviro couple who do many conservational projects around the district. My partner does regeneration/landscaping projects while I teach environmental studies at a local primary school part-time, run our native plant nursery, volunteer for local environmental organisations and help out with the business.
We enjoy cooking for various food preferences including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters.

We are overlooking the ohiwa harbour and offer an area that has many experiences such as swimming, kayaking, fishing, glow worms and mountain biking. We are also close to Te Urewera forest for tramping and are at the beginning of the east cape. We love sharing our knowledge about local flora and fauna and exchanging ideas with others.

We have a small native plant nursery which we need help with bagging on plants and regenerative planting tasks.
Also help in the vegetable garden and other projects that we happen to be doing at the time.

You will have your own kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The accommodation is in a newly renovated school bus that has it's own fire.

We live in a paradise where many people have their holiday, yet we get to live here all year round. We have fabulous views over the harbour and bush and have 2 kunekune pigs and 2 dogs as part of our family.

Helen was an absolute delight to have in our home. She quickly became comfortable and was very easy to talk with. She is wise and perceptive beyond her years, but still lots of fun. She even taught us a new game skyjo!

Jeppe and Cecilie are a lovely couple that stayed with us for just over a week. I was very impressed with the tasks they did of tidying the nursery and they helped out in the garden too.
They are very clean and tidy and left the accommodation immaculate.

Anne was a delight to have stay. She is kind, caring and has a lovely personality. We really enjoyed her company and appreciated her sharing her knowledge and skills with us.
