We host guests coming from all around the world to benefit of the magic atmosphere of this place.
We rent some beautiful and characteristic holiday homes in a little village on the Tuscany hills, at one with nature and with an incredible sea view.

Here in Metato we are running our architecture firm, and we deal with the activity of hosting and accommodating new guests and handling the countryside management... Metato is a unique place thanks to its perfect localization: it is located on the tuscany hills but it is very close to the sea, with an incredible landscape view and very close to national parks. It is the best option for you to be in touch with guests coming from all around the world and to experience the tuscan country life.

Looking for help with with housekeeping, maintenance of the gardens, swimming pools and animal care (three donkeys). Also we sometimes host dinners for our guest, so you can help with that (and eat very good traditional tuscan food!).
The Workawayer will be required to help 5 hours per day, 6 times a week (30 hr), in exchange of housing, food and the hourly wage expected in our country . We are looking for people from now, and someone who can stay at least one month. If you have other passions or talents that could be shared with our guests (yoga lessons, different forms of art, music, etc) they are very welcome!

We provide a private room with shared bathroom with another worker, common kitchen and board in a small private house, right nex to all the other villas and field where you'll be working. The food will sometimes be cooked by other staff, but the rest of the time we will provide the food to cook for yourself. We also host dinners sometimes for our guests, so then you'll eat very good traditional tuscan food! It would be better if you had your own transport, as there's no public transport to get here (although we would obviously go pick you up when you arrive, and could sometimes give you a ride to Camaiore, the nearest town, but that would be upon availability).

The location is incredible: we are in a beautiful little village (Metato di Camaiore) on the Tuscan hills, 20 minutes far to Viareggio, a touristic town nearby the seaside where nightlife for young people is very good especially on summer. In 30 minutes by car or train you can go to Lucca and Pisa, and in 1 hour to Firenze. There are national parks near by also! You can visit our website to know more about this place.
