AVAILABILITY UPDATE: I have availability for one person from this weekend 3 May to 23 May.
Thanks for visiting my profile, nice to meet you!
I’ll tell you a bit about us in a moment but first off in summary we’d love to hear from you if:
- you love cooking and are creative (and healthy) in your approach and happy to do some housework
-you are great with social media, editing reels, copywriting, sales, or Wordpress (Website editing), that would be amazing!
So if you think that is you please read on!
Here is some info about us :-)
We are a family of three. My daughter (21) and niece (15) live with me (and my son (18) stays over sometimes when not travelling). My niece is an international student, from England. We are a "rainbow" family, so very LGBTQIA+ friendly.
I love martial arts, mountain biking /cycling and going to the gym. I also like to learn languages (and keen to learn to speak Classical Latin). I often go to the movies and love trips to the theatre.
My daughter is a tech whizz, a talented online designer, and spends a lot of time in VR. She loves the French films festival
My niece is doing well in school, she loves art and draws/paints really well. She rides an e-bike to school, does karate too and in summer loves sailing. She likes Japanese Anime movies.
We all love to travel and enjoy hosting Workaways from around the world but ask that you have a good standard of English. We also welcome Aussie travellers and happily host and adapt to deaf/hearing impaired visitors too.
We'd love help with a range of things. Can you help with any of these?
* editing websites
*social media (editing reels and photo posts including from my travels) and doing some social media engagement
*writing blogs
*marketing/sales
* cooking, and general household and gardening tasks, (we like to eat healthy meals, I eat chicken/beef and am gluten free, my daughter and niece eat gluten but are vegetarian!)
We have ridiculously fast internet speeds (helps with the Virtual Reality!).
Please note we prefer a minimum stay of two weeks, but love it if you can stay longer.

I have hosted Workaways for many years and some like to just do their own thing and others enjoy accompanying me on outings. Let’s chat and you can let me know what you’d like to get out of your stay and I’ll see what we can do

Please contact me for details about the sort of work. It will depend on what skills you have. Essentially I am after people who can help me cook and keep house, or wordpress/social media/IT enthusiasts (with Good English) so if you can do one of those then that would be amazing! I use WhatsAp a lot so we can communicate via there once we have made our initial introductions.

Brisbane is full of fun things to do and there is good public transport to the city (all fares are 50c ). There is a public heated swimming pool nearby, plenty of gyms, and wonderful walks and rides to be had in the nearby parks, forest and by the river. There are shops/supermarkets etc. within walking distance. Our neighbourhood is very safe and friendly and Brisbane city is vibrant and full of fun things to do.
