SUMMER CAMPS
HI!I'm a teacher, I'm part of a cultural project which promotes cultural exchanges in Italy. Each project we propose has a purpose: basically we try to enrich school's libraries, providing English books or audio books. We are a small association but really motivated. We concentrate our work in a few weeks in Summer but I think it's the best moment to give space to creativity. What else can I say ? Roald Dahl RULES!!
We need to find shiny tutors ( if it is possible with previous experience in camps) interested in sport, art, theatre, music.
( e.g. guitarist... coach...art teachers, yoga teachers).

They can meet Italian families, live the Italian style and feel the hospitality.They will learn how to organize the routine of a summer camp with kids and how to be effective in teaching English.
You have to be ready to speak and do activities like art, drama. I've been teaching for more than 20 years and I've invented a lot of ideas to teach the language.
I've been part of several Erasmus+ projects and other Cultural Exchanges.
I'm in charge of Summer Stages for students in the UK and Ireland.

In general, we are looking for creative people, able to stay with children.
You can choose during your staying between a TRIP TO THE WONDERFUL LAKE ORTA or TO THE ALPS if you like the mountains ( at the weekend)

I'm really motivated in my job and I'm looking for similar tutors! The experience we had last summers was really exciting! Some of the tutors I met will come again to help because they were happy about the staff, the venue and the families. I really like these activities and summer is the perfect time, I can't wait to meet other tutors from abroad!Stefania

What can I say about Cheryl?? She is very sweet, energetic, helpful and shiny. She shared all her experience and ability to teach English to young children. She just stayed with us a couple of weeks but she immediately understood what to do and how to move. She is not only a tutor: she sings, she draws she creates!!!Host Cheryl!!

Megan is a good teacher. She is also very playful with kids. Although teaching English in Italy is very hard and we have a low level of communication , she helped her group of kids to develop skills. She is also really flexible and I recomend to host her!!!

Sylvain is an excellent tutor. He stayed with us 20 days and he was precious to our camp. He managed the drama activities, he taught children but also to me a lot of interesting exercises to improve communication skills. He was very creative, flexible and independent.
