Temporary update: House and dog sitter needed from 30 December- 5 January. You are welcome to come earlier and stay longer.

If you enjoy cooking, gardening, painting, language exchange, or art and want to have lots of time to explore Wellington then we are the family for you! We currently need help tidying the outside. Murals are also welcome.

Our household star is an 9 year old English Bulldog who will love you instantly.

We would love help in any of these areas:

House painting
Gardening
Murals
Dog care

Cooking is always welcome, including recipe exchange.

You will have a small room with bed. Shared bathroom, kitchen, laundry, and living space.

This household is LGBTQIA welcoming.

Nicole was an absolute gem! She was super chill and easygoing. I had to change my plans at the last minute, and she was totally welcomed about letting me stay a bit longer than we had planned.

Frida was absolutely lovely to host. She is an excellent communicator and fantastic baker. She was caring for our dog and coordinated with local people when there was a crisis.

Nicole gave me the opportunity to spend two weeks at her house in Wellington. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and offered me so much help and opportunities! Everyone in the family loved having Megane stay with us. We enjoyed hearing about her work and travels as a chef. Tasting her food was even better than hearing about it! She was eager to practice English and liked trying new foods at the local food festival.
