Hello.
I have a number of horses on my little ranch, some infirm rescues and some very good ridden ones. I need help caring for my place and the animals. There is ample opportunity to ride out and exercise the horses, in company or alone.
I offer a package of board, lodging and coming out, to create a lovely stay. You will be part of the family and participate in most of what we do, thus, really getting to know Sicily and its many fascinating aspects.
I can pay some pocket money too...

I need you to be a good and confident rider, able to take out our horses. They are all good but some are a bit spirited. So, your chores would include -
- Take care of the horses - feeding, watering etc. The horses live out so this is not too difficult a job.
- Tack up and ride out to keep the horses trained etc....
- Sometimes feeding my dogs and cats.

We have 5 dogs of our own. They are friendly but caution may be required initially till they get used to new arrivals. We have a comfortable dog pen to help with this.

They are excellent hosts, and have a stunning farm in the Sicilian countryside. If you love horses you will really love it here, but if not, you’ll still have a great time.

Staying at Mark's place was a great experience! He is a very kind and humble man you can share long talks with. He needed some help building a little stable, feeding horses, choping some wood for the winter, etc. and I was more than happy to do it :)

Sicily is beautiful.
Mark and Pippa have done a gorgeous job on their farm. Sicilian food cannot be beat. Ask to stay at the bed and breakfast in Palermo for a couple nights, you wont regret it!
