  I am retired, on my own, living in a beautful large home overlooking the sea and the breathtaking Southern Alps of this amazing southisland. I write crime novels and take care of my cocker spaniel and am so lucky and grateful to be living in this special part of the world. Ive had had many interns and interns staying with me, and we have all benefitted from the experience.

  i have had German interns, Asian civil servants and a student from Sri Lanka live with me for extended periods who have loved their stay. We have all become great friends and they are now part of my family. I am a great mentor and life coach and in return offer you alternative views of life and open your eyes to alternative experiences. All around me are great hiking trails which you will have plenty of time to do, The famous Abel Tasman and the Queen Charlotte Walk and I am close to the ski fields and Nelson Lakes. You would have a lovely time with me and Boswell.

  It would be great to have someone to help me with some light weeding and some general house tasks. I am well travelled, a former aid worker and have extensive life experience to share. I can share some of the beautiful places where I walk my dog. I am a good cook and you will enjoy my meals.

  I speak basic Arabic and French. I am extermely well travelled..and have had a wonderful career as a humanitarian worker, with a focus on war zones and disasters.

  I live in the suburb of Marybank in sunny Nelson, I have lovely large home with plenty of space and views. You will have your own room and bathroom, A bus stop is five minutes walk away and goes into the centre of town, six minutes drive.
  I will cook all meals and you will be responsible for bathroom and your bedroom.

  Nelson is full of famous walks and bush tracks ( Queen Charlotte and Abel Tasman) and of course we have the wonderful beaches of golden sands. Nelson is almost in the centre of NZ so is a good base from which to explore both islands.

  i can accept a small dog only...but this is because my outside area is a wooden deck and would be too small for a larger dog. My cocker spaniel Boswell is easy to get on with.
