Marrion fue una host increíble, me hizo sentir en casa desde el primer momento. La comodidad y belleza del lugar, el barrio tranquilo y la facilidad de explorar el área desde su ubicación han sido exepcionales!! Marrion siempre estuvo atenta y ayudandomé a planear mis visitas. Su hijo Phil es super educado y me recibió con una frase en español.
… read more Sus perritos Cooper y Litchiy fueron mi principal tarea, la cual super disfruté. Días despues se sumaron otras dos mascotas el cual tuve el placer de pasear también. Me encantó vivir esta experiencia y volvería a hacerlo sin dudas con ellos. Gracias por recibirme!!

It was so hard to leave Marion and Phil after spending more than a month with them. Marion made sure that I was comfortable with my stay at all times. Spending time with Phil was so natural and did not feel like "work". I will miss our game nights, playing in the pool, and, most of all, our time spent on the football/soccer pitch. I cannot forget

This was my first ever Workaway and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very first day with Marion and Phil I felt like part of the Family☺️ I stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Phil is such a funny, caring and smart boy, we spent most evenings playing football and basketball in the park together. We also done some
… read more baking, watched movies and played board games! The work was very relaxed, I mostly just helped around the house and helped Phil with his English homework and school projects. I had lots of time free to explore the region and the local buses and trains made it very easy to get around. Over my stay, Marion was also dog sitting and I became very close with one of the dogs, Oscar (my walking buddy). Towards the end of my stay we all went to a basketball match together which was a lot of fun!

I spent 6 wonderful days with Marion and Phil in April and I would warmly recommend it to everyone!
Marion answered very quickly and I'm so glad that I could come even though it was really spontaneous!
She is such a friendly, honest, open-minded and uncomplicated person and I always enjoyed spending time with her. She treated me like a friend

Moreover, Marion was very helpful always asking if I needed something and she also took us to the train station and picked me up somewhere.
They welcomed me so warmly and they always offered good food and wine!
In spite of the few days that I spent with them, I really felt at home there because I was very free: I could watch TV, stay in the garden or in the living room whenever I wanted and take whatever I needed.
We had enjoyable and interesting conversations, spent the evenings together and went to a little village nearby for example.
The pets are very cute and just lovely the way they are.
The room and the house are very cozy and clean.
The area is very beautiful and calm with the picturesque villages of Valbonne and Biot nearby and with paths to walk there. There is a direct bus connection to Nice.
The "work" was very flexible and as Phil is very uncomplicated and friendly as well, it didn't really feel like work. We played board games together, played soccer on the street and went on nice trips to Monaco and Nice.
All in all I really enjoyed the days I spent with them, because even in this short time they really felt like family! Thank you Marion for everything!
I miss you and hope that we'll see each other again!

… read more Oceanographic Museum in Monaco and another day on the beach in Nice. Paula‘s main interest was ensuring that Phil had a great time, and boy he did! Unfortunately Paula‘s stay was short (agreed in advance) and when she left after 6 days it felt like we were saying good-bye to a family member. … read more I was welcoming old friends to my home. They had arrived late afternoon on Easter Sunday and I did not expect them to do anything but relax from the long drive. Wrong! J & T were keen to examine the work I had in mind for them and started preparing the room the same evening in preparation for an early start the next morning. I had asked them to wallpaper and paint my bedroom and they did an amazing job! They were careful to protect everything nicely, were their own harsh quality control and showed a real interest in transforming my bedroom into something absolutely beautiful! I was grateful that they proactively tidied up, cleaned and cleared away all tools afterwards. We had a great time chatting over dinner each evening; in the mornings they made breakfast themselves and when they were not working, they explored the area. In terms of personality, they are easy-going, open minded, communicative, respectful and well mannered. In terms of skills, they are multi-skilled and I wish they'd be able to come to visit regularly and help with tasks around the house. I was sad to see them leave but hope that our paths will cross again in the future. My home is always open to them! - Safe travels, Jasmin & Thomas! A bientot!

Marion welcomed us like friends in her beautiful home from the very beginning. Uncomplicated, open-minded, obliging and generous describes the way the best she was treating us as workawayers.

… read more needed to make a good job and to have enough free-time to check out the area. On top she supplied lovely food, even prepared a great picnic basket with wine and delicious food for us the other day! We felt very much appreciated and well taken care of.
All that within a compfy, clean home with swimming-pool and an absolute stunning area where lots of fantastic cities are nearby and easily reachable.
