I am Ben, married with 3 children. We own a lodge situated in Liwonde Town found in Machinga District in the Southern Region of Malawi. The lodge has 2 lodges in the same town one with 5 self-contained lodges right in the heart of the Town and the main campus situated in Mawira Low Density Residential Area which has 11 self-contained rooms, free WIFI, a restaurant, a bar and a 30 seater conference room. We receive both local and international guests who come for workshops or for tourism in the town. Our lodge is situated 7km away from Liwonde National Park where tourists come for game viewing and 3km away from Shire River where tourists come for boat rides and game viewing as well. It is located in a quiet and well secured area. We offer accommodation(self-contained room),food and a bike.
I have 7 paid staff. 2 are watchmen,2 supervisors/1 is a cook too,2 cleaners/receptionists,1 gardner

They will learn the local languages, traditional dances. They will visit many tourist places in the district and other areas in the country which include Liwonde National Park ,Lake Malawi, Shire River. They will mix with our local and international guests at the lodge and places they visit.
The helper or the couple should help with management of the Lodges. They should build capacity of staff in all aspects of the lodge which includes guest care and support, marketiyng the lodge and, general cleanliness of the environment. They should have hospitality experience, innovative and preference will be those who want to stay for more than three months so as for them to leave a mark.Marketing of the lodge should be both locally and internationally.New innovations and ideas from the traveller will be important too

Helpers can visit tourist places in Liwonde and other parts of the Country during their time off,eg at Liwonde National Park, other hotels and lodges in Liwonde, Shire River, Lake Malawi. Transport is cheap within and around the country available during the greater part of the day. There are bicycles taxis, motorbikes ,small vehicles,minibuses,train,boat rides and air transport. People here very friendly that's why the country is called the Warm Heart of Africa
