  The Charity School is located in the Volta region of Ghana, in the small town of Anfoega.
  
  The school has more than 320 student from kindergarten to 10 grade and Volunteers are urgently needed to partner the Charity School in its diverse educational initiatives and activities, such us classroom lessons, physical education and sport lessons, photography and video lessons, art projects, music, educational innovation projects, literary productions,classroom construction, etc.
  We are looking for open minded volunteers who are looking for a unique experience to work with us as teachers and help the children to expand their knowledge. You will have the freedom to teach anything you want, eveything is helpful for us. The children will appreciate your help very much.

  Coming to a town like Anfoega is a incredible and a unforgetable experience because you will work with the children and also with our teachers here, you will meet everybody in the town. The advantage of coming to a small town like this one is that we are a warm and welcoming place and everybody is always happy to have new people here. The feedback from the volunteers that we have had in the past is always about how happy they felt thanks to the hospitality and warm hearts of the people.
  As a plus benefit you will have the experience of learning new languages, such as the local ghanaian language of this part of the country called Ewe and of course Englih and French.

  Dear Travellers and volunteers
  We need a lot of help in the school, mainly in education and infrastructure. As you can see in the photos the class rooms does not have walls, so in the rainy season it is very hard for us to make classes. We have a computer lab which only has one computer and we can not do much with that for the 320 students that we have everyday. We would love to start a library for the kids, they speak and write very well english but we dont have any books for them so that they can improve even more . We need mainly school materials to improve their learning experience. We plead with you to come along with any useful teaching and learning material such as books, papers, pencils, counters, poster colours, computers and all others that will help the children learn better to improve on their performance. We want to emphasize that the request for these teaching and learning materials is not a compulsory stipulation for accepting helpers.
  Please dont hesitate to contact us, we are an open school willing to have anyone who is willing to teach, play, work, build and of course help us in anyway. Thank you.

  45 minutes away you have the highest mountain in Ghana called Mt. Afadzato, which is near to the most beautiful waterfall you will ever see, also called Wii waterfalls.
  1 hour away you will aslo find Ho, whcih is the the regional capital of the Volta Region, and that is like the small Accra of Ghana.
  45 minutes drive from Anfoega towards Hohoe, you will find the Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary.
