Descripción
A historic flour mill and home to the queer-led non-profit, serves as a hub for regenerative art, environmental education, and cultural discourse. We're a small farm in the middle of nowhere, with 2 horses, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs and other animals, focused on regenerative agriculture and restoring the ecosystem we steward.
Our current program Inter-Species Refuge explores regenerative and alternative agricultural practices, queer ecology and regenerative pastoralism to benefit local fauna, flora and community to create a safe space to promote holistic health and care for human and non-human species. The 'living lab' will see the intersection of science, art and social practice, for research and adaptation to local climate change impacts.
Continuing the mill’s legacy of resistance, we provide a space for artists, activists, farmers, and creatives to foster transformative social change. Through creativity, experiential learning, and grassroots organizing, we bridge nature and culture into a holistic, sustainable, and regenerative practice.
By hosting and inspiring creatives globally, we promote a model for sustainable and regenerative practices, while offering a space to reconnect with nature and creativity. Our community unites diverse talents to steward the ecosystem and build a habitable world for future generations.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
Our residency program is a vibrant space for artists and thinkers of all kinds—poets, musicians, writers, farmers, scientists, and more—to connect, create, and collaborate. Residents, interns and volunteers stay for one to four weeks, becoming part of our community by sharing meals, evenings by the fire, studio visits, and presentation nights. You can join us in feeding the animals, working in the organic gardens, or learning about permaculture and regenerative farming. We exchange skills, ideas, and traditions, fostering mutual growth and inspiration. By hosting diverse voices, we aim to learn from your perspectives while sharing our own way of life.

Ayuda
We have two horses, chickens, cats and dogs (and soon pigs!) and several permaculture gardens that need attention and care. If you would like to volunteer at our center you would help us out in these areas and according to your skills and what you would wish to learn.
Volunteering includes manual work such as gardening, feeding animals, keeping the grounds tidy and general upkeep of the farm. Roughly we ask for 4-5 hours of work a day, the rest of the time you are free to work on your own projects–there is plenty of space and functional workshops, studios, and art supplies at your disposal, but you are also free to enjoy the time off, take a trip to town or a hike around the beautiful forests and meadows that surround our center.Idiomas

We mainly speak English and Czech, depending on who is joining us each season many other languages can be heard, learned and exchanged.Alojamiento
We can offer private accommodation (and bedding) in one of our caravans, reconstructed houseboat or other residency space (photos on website). We have many spaces and options, depending on needs and the number of guests.
Sharing meals is an important part of community living. We all switch off cooking for each other and decide during our morning meetings if we prefer to cook a group lunch or an evening grill by the fire. We provide ingredients for 3 meals/day, 2 of which you'll be asked to cook yourself and one of which will be provided for you by a community member. You'll also have access to our fresh organic garden produce and eggs from our chickens for all of your cooking needs.Algo más...
We drive to the city every few days to buy groceries so you can join us if you want to go to the city. From the city you can take any kind of public transportation to get to other cities in the Czech Republic if you'd like to go on a longer trip.
