Descripción
We are a warm and welcoming family living in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain. We have two lovely daughters, aged 4 and 6. They are calm, affectionate, and enjoy activities such as painting, crafts, and music.
My husband is a mathematics teacher at a nearby secondary school, and I work as a statistics technician for the Andalusian government. Thanks to our work schedules, we are able to spend a large part of the afternoons with our daughters, and we truly love sharing free time with them—doing activities together, meeting other children, and accompanying them as they grow. However, even though we both have good working hours, they do not fully match the school schedule, as the girls are at school for five hours each day.
We believe that having someone from another country who speaks a different language at home would be a wonderful opportunity for our daughters. We see the au pair experience not only as help for our family, but as a cultural exchange where everyone can learn from each other.
We offer a comfortable living space and a caring, relaxed family environment. We would love to welcome someone who feels at home with us and becomes part of our daily life.
We are looking for a caring and responsible au pair to help us with taking the girls to school and picking them up. This means being with them during two daily time slots.
The first time slot is from 8:00 to 9:00 in the morning. During this hour, the au pair would help the girls get ready for school: assisting them with getting dressed, doing their hair, making sure they have breakfast, brush their teeth, and walking them to school, which is only a 4-minute walk from our home.
The second time slot is from 14:00 to 16:30 in the afternoon. During this period, the au pair would pick them up from school, walk them home, set the table, heat up the meal that we will have prepared in advance, eat with them, make sure they brush their teeth, and play with them until we arrive home. On some days, it may be necessary to accompany them to an extracurricular activity during this time slot. The afternoon schedule would only be required four out of the five weekdays.
We offer a comfortable living space and a welcoming family environment. We are excited about the opportunity to meet someone from another country and to share our home and culture.
If you are interested in joining our family, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to answer any questions.

We would love to show you our city and share our daily life with you. We truly enjoy simple moments such as having picnics in Seville’s beautiful gardens, listening to music with our children, and spending time outdoors together. Seville is a lively city full of history, culture, sunshine, and wonderful places to discover, and we would be happy for you to experience it with us.
One of the most special things about our home is the au pair’s room, which has direct access to a terrace with beautiful views over the city of Seville. It is a bright and pleasant space where you can relax, sunbathe, have breakfast or meals outside, and also play with the girls. The terrace is an important part of our family life: we often have barbecues and cook paella there, and we like to invite friends over to spend time together. You would of course be welcome to share these moments with us and feel part of the family.

We would like to find someone who can speak English, as it is important for us that our daughters are exposed to the language in their daily life. Knowledge of German would be especially appreciated, as German is the language used at the girls’ school. However, this is not a strict requirement—what matters most to us is a positive attitude and a willingness to communicate and share.
Alojamiento
You will have your own room located on a different floor the the resto of the family, but is is connected by a staircase. THe room has access to a large terrace that we will al share, although we will use a separate entrance. The terrace is equipped with amenities for dining, so you can enjoy your meals outddors. Food is an important part of our family life and also a lovely way to share cultures together.
Breakfast in our home is simple and relaxed. Adults usually have coffee with milk or an infusion, and the girls drink milk. Breakfast is accompanied by cereals, biscuits, or toast. Toasts can be prepared according to personal taste, with options such as butter, peanut butter, olive oil, tomato, pâté, avocado, or ham.
For lunch, we usually cook traditional homemade Spanish dishes, especially stews. Some examples are lentils, beans, chickpeas stew (cocido), meat in sauce, or potatoes with cuttlefish. On Fridays, we normally have pasta. During weekends, we often prepare barbecues or rice dishes such as paella, which we enjoy sharing with family and friends.
Dinner is usually lighter and varied. We often prepare omelettes with vegetables, oven-baked meat or fish, couscous salad, vegetable purée, chicken soup, baked chicken wings, salmorejo, or gazpacho. Friday evenings are more relaxed and fun, and we usually have pizza or burritos together.
If at any time the volunteer does not feel like eating what we have prepared, they are very welcome to use any ingredients available at home to cook for themselves. Likewise, when the girls are not at home or if we have not prepared food, the volunteer is free to prepare any meal they wish. We want everyone to feel comfortable, respected, and at home when it comes to food.
We see shared meals as a great opportunity for cultural exchange, conversation, and enjoying time together, but we are also flexible and understanding of individual preferences.
