I had the most wonderful time in this workaway. I felt really welcomed from the first second I started and just to mention Melanie cooks incredible!
It was a pleasure to stay with the family and even get the chance to visit “pet day” at the school. :)

Zulal was amazing! Anyone that gets the opportunity to have her is very lucky. A very lovely kind and intelligent woman. She has an amazing work ethic and was excellent in everything she did. She loved learning and was very happy helping us in all aspects in our life. She was so helpful with our kids in particular helping our son study for maths…

It was my first work away experience with Melanie and Mark. The second day arrived to NZ I went to directly their home in Oropi which is 30 min drive away from Tauranga. They were so nice, kind and hostile. Melanie is very nice cook, lovely yoga teacher and mother of three amazing kids Jess (surfer), Will (gamer), Hudson (dancer). Mark is very

Doing 2-3 hours of weeding in the garden or helping Mark or kids with Math, Melanie also drove me around, we walked at the top of The mount (Mount Maunganui), took me the Papamoa beach since I did not have car. I really appreciate her company and time! We went to Oropi waterfall on the weekend and had a dinner in their friend’s house where I met another wonderful people. Thank you so much for everything, I hope we will have a chance to meet again in the future. Missing you!

Leticia and Elder were incredible! What a lovely couple! They bonded with our family and kids and had much to offer. They actually get part of the family and it was so sad to see them go. They were 200% at everything they did and so keen to learn. We showed them some new things they had never done and they just loved learning and so happy and

Mark and Mel are fantastic! They treaty us with a lot of love, we felt like home and a part of the family.
They have amazing kids, which one has their "special" skils. Jesse is incredible with birds, he knows everything about them and built a palace for them live. Will is so kind, like different types of games, we could watch one of his soccer

Our work there was more about learning new jobs, Mark taught us how to use many kinds of tools, we help with the garden, doing a wall with tiles, making small signs for the vegetables, building a house for chicks, paint the outside of the house, feeding the babies animals, cooking with Mel... We miss every day her amazing food, the bread that she taught us was so easy and delicious!
We have a lot of experience with them, was our first Halloween, first time driving a motorbike, playing cornhole with Mel's sister and brother-in-law, having marshmallows in the fire...
We had the best memories with them, for us was an opportunity to meet wonderful people, friends for all life.

Wow! Tal and Maya were above and beyond!! We just loved them, our whole family loved their kind and infectious natures. From the moment they arrived they smiled and didn’t stop... Tal was an incredible worker who put so much energy and time into anything he did. We could trust him to get any job done but not only that, he was so passionate and

Mark, Melanie and their amazing kids were my best hosts until now. They are amazingly accomodating, have very good attitude to life and taught me alot!!! these guys are an amazing insparation for me.
They open their house and their heart, and I felt like home from the first second.

I spend nearly one week with Melanie, Mark, their sons and their animals. When I arrived there I didn’t expect to have such a great time wich I could share with four other workawayers who stayed there at the same time. We mostly helped with renovations on the house, but we also helped in the kitchen, in the garden and with the animals on the farm.

Mark and Melanie also gave us many insights on the New Zealand culture and way of living and they could give us so many tips about what to do in our free time. Mark even showed us how to surf and how to ride a small motorbike.
The three boys also seemed to enjoy the company of us workawayers. All in all it was a never boring, busy but not hectic time and I can only recommend this host!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.
