About my home: My kids are grown and living interstate so it’s just me and one rather spoiled dog living here although there is very often extra’s staying. I have a close family that loves the outdoors, camping, adventures, animals and of course the beach! I have weekly dinners with neighbours and there are always friends over. It's a very busy and lively place to live.
About me: I work in Disability Support. Excellent cook! Love my family and friends, beach walks with the dog, music festivals and really love cooking.
Location: I live in a town called Coffs Harbour, in Australia! It is between Sydney and Brisbane on the east coast. It is the perfect spot if you like the ocean and all things nature really! I live a 20 min walk to the beach, but I go by car with the dog every day, you are always welcome to join! I am a 5 min walk to the town centre where you will find great cafes, pubs, supermarket, skate park, botanic garden, shops and restaurants. In Coffs you have the oppurtunity to visit local markets, national parks, marine reserves, water sports, creeks, beaches among many others!

Needing help to improve and maintain my home.
CURRENT PROJECT - preparing and painting walls, minor plastering. If you have skills in building/repairing/painting would be beneficial but not essential.
Future projects - cleaning up the garden: garden needs overgrown weeds removed before eventually being maintained. Fence replacement.

I have had a couple of really great workawayers here in the past, before Covid stopped travel. I am happy to be able to open my home once again and meet some new travellers. The expectations in the house are that you respect me, my friends, and my belongings. And of course my dog. Honesty is an important value, to prevent misunderstandings, communications is important too! In return I will respect you and will make sure that you feel welcomed like family to my home.
In your free time you are welcome to join any outings I go on whether it be to the beach or the supermarket. I often go to nearby towns (by australian standards this could be byron bay 3hours) for day trips. You can also go on nature walks, hikes, stand up paddle, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins or whales (in nature), skydiving, markets, cafes, the big banana, camping, beaches, dorrigo skywalk, bruxner, sawtell, yamba, port macquarie ect. There is also a bicycle here if you want to use it to get around.
