  Hello 👋🏻
  We are kind of new to workaway but have some experience throughout my parents place- also a host and I went to Australia and „worked“ as a helpX, my sister was in New Zealand for a year as a workaway.
  
  We are a family of four. My husband Marcel and I with our two kids Laila (7) and Jara (5).
  
  I am working during the week in the morning as a kind of a dental hygienist in school and kindergarten and my husband is a prospective police officer (currently in education).
  
  We have a 1601qm house with a large garden which needs a lot of love and maintenance. We also love to plant some own fruits/vegetables. Always learning and teaching ourself new stuff about it- learning by doing is our motto :)
  
  We love to get to know new people. We lived 5 years in London and had always new people around us from diffrent countries (my hsubands worked for the NATO and of course the people in the neighbourhood). Also we like the idea that our kids get to know diffrent languages and countries an get to know the world on this unique way.
  
  We are looking for someone who can speak at least a bit of German so you could talk to the kids :) they were both born in England but we haven‘t carried on with talking english.
  We are happy to improve your German- the kids are perfect teacher too :)
  
  The bed in your room is extendable so a couple would be also welcome :)
  
  We live in Stade a nice small city with a lot of history. Next to it is the „Altes Land“ with a lot of apple and cherry trees.
  Also we have the „Barger Heide“ very close to us for a nice walk or run.
  Of course the river Elbe is always worth a trip. You could always borrow a bike from us ;) or you join us on a trip by car :)
  
  In our street is a bus station so you can reach the city within 4/5 stops or walk approximately 30-45 min by feet.
  
  Hamburg is approximately 1 hour with the train and also always worth a visit.
  
  If you are looking for a family Stay, to get to know a german family routine and family connectivity you are perfect at our place :)
  You will be involved like a big sibling/aunt/uncle to our family.

  Alojamiento

  There will be a room for you. You will have your own shower. The toilet which is separate to the shower will also be used from guests and us. - we do have another bathroom upstairs.
  
  We have a (partly) gluten free household since our daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease (Zöliakie).
  
  We will have lunch and dinner together - if you are a early bird also Breakfast.
  We also do a „schmausepause“ in the afternoon - coffee/tea and snacks :)
  
  As you are part of our family for the time you are with us - you will of course join us if you want :)
  
  Everything can, nothing is a must ;)
