  I have raised my family here and am now finishing all the projects started over the years. We are all active, play music, games, and love to show people our island and surrounding inlets and waterways. There is excellent mountain hiking near here which if you are fit enough you could join us, we often go overnight. We are open minded but non smokers ,social drinkers and like to eat as healthy as possible and as organic as we can. There are dances on the island which are really fun and interesting. My host rating is 60 % which is apparently because I don't have pictures or maybe my lack of media savvy, please visit me any way all my other guests have become friends,we had a lovely time and where I live and the extra activities are really fun cheers, Michael Hugh Barton

  I have a gulf island homestead, there is gardening, wood splitting and stacking, sanding and painting wood trim , building new projects, general cleaning and tidying, beach cleanup etc. The property is in a beautiful area close to beaches, good hikes and lovely views. There are several stores and cafes on the island and regular ferry service, about 6 a day from Campbell river . I am especially interested in learning Spanish. I have a piano, internet, phone and lots of camping space
