We are based in a 200 year old chapel when the mountains of Snowdonia meet the sea, right at the edge of the national park. The chapel dates from 1838. Many chapels were built in that period in Wales and these days they are being sold as less people go to church. We are in the process of developing this one to be a creative and collaboration acceleration space for projects that want to have a big impact and help change the direction the planet is heading in.
Liam the project founder has a background in Science and Technology. He also travelled a lot when he was younger with several years in Japan and India. Liam has done a lot of the building work so far, but now spends more time to manage the overall project, building the organisation and planning voyages (this is how we call our retreats).
Building is a high priority for us as it will allow us to expand our capacity. If you're practical but haven't done much building we will be able to help and supervise you. There's a lot of other things going on, we eat well and cooking for the team is a daily activity that usually several of the crew participate in, then there's everything from housekeeping to media production, social media marking and art projects. Currently we are looking for people who want to come for longer stays, ideally to work on specific project or area of the project, and often sometimes with a technology or art component. We also sometimes welcome people to come to help generally with whatever needs doing.
We've recently started doing some live stream shows, showing local musicians and Artists.
We're particularly looking for talented people that have either discovered or want to discover their purpose and are committed to self-realisation or self-improvement.
We follow a practice called We-flow which helps us get into flow states as a collective. We work hard in different ways but one of the principles we follow is 100% play, Maximum 69% Serious.

We believe that creativity and innovation are the what we need to change the world. Intention is everything and those who want to do innovation just to make more money will only add to our problems.
This is why we're building our pirate ship to be a creative vehicle that supports teams and allows them to go on innovation voyages and adventures, deep into subjects and areas that the corporate world doesn't want to fund.
There are a lot of people on our network, some are visionaries, artists, techies, healers and farmers. Hopefully you'll connect with some during your stay.
There is a lot to do. Over the past year we have got the space into a condition where we can host and we have put some of the Cabin on rental from April ( they are very highly rated).
This is convenient for now to earn some money for the project, our medium term goal is to develop a name as a creative space for flow state, peak performance and a space where talented people can get together and create innovation without needing big corporate backing.
We do a diversity of projects and don't always keep this page up to date (see our social media for up to date news). For example last year we got a small grant to develop a VR language learning game. We produced a prototype for learning Welsh and this project has great potential to move forward if we have more resources. If you're interested in VR and like learning or teaching languages then this could be a great project to collaborate with us on.
Skill we need start with building, especially carpentry, plumbing, electrics. We need help with cleaning and cooking and can use a range of other skills like social media, video editing, writing, research, programming etc.
advanced topics we're interested in: blockchain, IoT, new paradigm economic, VR, collaboration, game theory, peak performance, flow state, robotics.

We have a few small single and double cabins. Being small these stay cosy in the winter months when the rest of the chapel can be cold.
The other warm space in Winter is the kitchen which is spacious enough to sit 10 comfortably for dinner. We are vegetarian and vegan and all communal meal we cook are at least veggie. There is a local organic farm just down the road and we get veggies from here, they also have very nice free range eggs.
It's a short walk from the Chapel to a bus stop from where it's easy to reach Bangor, Caernarfon, and Llanberis. Some buses though don't run in the evenings. We can probably pick you up if you arrive in the evening but if you're out exploring you'll need to be careful to check when the last bus is. If you like going for hikes and walks then we are in the perfect place.
We are based 10 miles away from Snowdon - Snowdonia National Park - a lot of places to hike and visit - mountains, beaches, quarries. Google "Lonely Planet North Wales" and you'll see, too many things to describe here.

We have a shared office space, other working spaces and a good internet connection, so we are more than able to host digital nomads. Again, if you are looking for somewhere to stay and work from home, feel free to reach out and we can discuss potential arrangements.
We have a private car park in front of the Chapel
We currently have 2 cats and a dog living at the Chapel. If you have pets, we'd be very welcoming - just mention it when we have a chat and we can make sure that they'll all get along.
