  Hi ;)
  My name is Julie, and I live on the farm I bought after my grandparents. Im now looking for someone to help out in december, for around two weeks, ca 18/12 til around 29or 30/12. ( flexible dates). Im searching for someone who will be comfortable beeing on their own for 6/7 days during christmas. The task will be taking the horses out in the mornings, giving them lunch, do stable work for 1-5 horses a day, walk the dog and feed him and the cat.
  
  I will be open to workawayers all year, and the tasks will be different during the sesons. I will prefer that you have some expirience with horses, but if you are willing to learn to handle them , that can also work :)
  
  I have been slowly but surely restoring the farm and try to make improvements to it every year. The farm is located at Grytting, halfway between the towns of Stokmarknes and Sortland. Here we have nature right outside the living room door, and access to the mountains and sea is a five-minute walk from the farm. The place is a free space for several people with a love for horses, and we have a good environment with good togetherness, laughter, talk and care for each other and the horses.
  I have 3 dagthers butthey all live down south of Norway . They are home in vacations and holydays. I work 100 % as a nurse and Im the leader of the local riding club.

  With us, those who come will be able to learn about horse keeping and ways to run a stable in northern Norway where wind and weather can be challenging. As a family, we like to use the nature around us both for daily recreation and exercise, as well as for our horses to use the open fields as their summer pasture and as a training arena. We like to explore the nearby areas in terms of museums, historical events and other tourist attractions, and we would like our guests to see this. We are surrounded by beautiful nature with proximity to high mountains and the open sea, so this will be a paradise for guests who like to unfold themselves in nature
  
  Hos oss vil de som kommer oppleve hestehold og måter å drifte en stall på i Nord-Norge der vind og vær kan være utfordrende. Vi liker å bruke naturen rundt oss både som daglig rekreasjon og trening, samt at våre hester bruker utmarken som sitt sommerbeite og som trenings arena. Vi liker å utforske nærområdene ift museum, historiske hendelser og andre turistattraksjoner, og dette vil vi ønske at våre gjester vil være med å se på. Vi er omringet av vakker natur med nærhet til høye fjell og åpent hav, så dette vil være et paradis for gjester som liker å utfolde seg i naturen

  Ayuda

  In wintertime I need help to walk the dog, take care of the other animals, house help, cooking. We have some horsees of our own that we somedays need help with, its possible to ride if experienced.
  
  In summertime its more work outside with cutting gras, painting, repairing buildings, putting up fences and so on. But also some work with the horses and the stables, but not so much stablework since the horses are outside all the time then.

  I find it fun to learn simple sentences in other languages, and I am happy to teach my native language to those who want to. Jeg synes det er moro å lære enkle setninger på andre språk, og lærer gjerne bort mitt morsmål til de som ønsker

  Alojamiento

  The guest lives with me in my house. Own bedroom, but must share kitchen, living room and bathroom with us. Dinner will be a joint meal on most weekdays. The guests will be treated as a member of the family, and must participate in daily chores in the home. I as the host will provide food and household items. Guests have full access to wifi and a washing machine, the option to borrow a car, but then they have to pay for fuel themselves.
  
  Gjesten/e bor sammen med meg og mine to døtre i vårt hus. Eget soverom, men må dele kjøkken, stue og bad med oss. Middag vil være fellesmåltid i hverdagen, men i helgene prøver vi å spise frokost/ lunsj og middag sammen. Gjestene vil bli behandlet som en familiemedlem, og må delta i daglige gjøremål i hjemmet. Vi som vert vil besørge mat og husholdningsartikler. Gjester har full tilgang til wifi og vaskemaskin, mulighet for å låne bil men da må de selv betale for drivstoff

  The nature we have here is spectacular and will certainly offer great experiences for those who like hiking, mountain tours and boat trips. There are many attractions in the local area that we as a family would like to take our guests to see. Lofoten is an hour's drive away, and is known for being a tourist magnet with its diverse nature. There is a bus connection between the two small towns between which the farm is located.
  
  
  Naturen vi har her er spektakulær og vil absolutt by på flotte opplevelser for de som liker fotturer, fjellturer og båtturer. Det er mange attraksjoner i nærområdet som gjestene kan besøke, noen kan vi ta de med til og noen kan de besøke uten oss.. Lofoten er en times kjøretur unna, og er kjent for å være en turistmagnet med sin mangfoldige natur. Det er bussforbindelse mellom de to små byene som gården ligger midt imellom.
