Descripción
Our place is a well known small blueberry farm on the outskirts of Kerikeri. It is open in the summer months selling fresh blueberries, blueberry ice cream and coffees etc.. customers relax in the shaded garden, enjoying the orchard atmosphere.We are currently looking to employ two workaway people, two friends or a couple, to work 5 or sometimes 6 hours a day 5 days a week for 12 weeks.you will be harvestingthew blueberries in the mornings ansd assisting with packing and background cafe taks in the afternoon.a good command of english is essential as is a confident and friendly manner . Commencing approx Dec2024 till March 2025.Free accommodation is available on site.Please only apply if you are already in NZ, and have your work visa and tax number ready to start work. having your own car is essential .More details will be provided once you make contact with us.

During the summer months our orchard shop /cafe is open and the place is pretty busy with customers locals and tourists. Its a nice time to be here. Over winter the place is more quiet but we have more time to spend with you and will show you around the area or will sometimes, take you sailing in our yacht in the Bay of islands.

We occasionally need help in the summer months with weeding the blueberry plants and harvesting, with occasional work helping pack the berries for market
In the winter months[ June till August ]we need l lot of help with pruning , mulching and planting.

We provide a self contained studio that has a queen size bed and would suite A COUPLE OR TWO FRIENDS It has cooking facilities and a shower and toilet, it is right next to our home.

We are located just 8 kms from Kerikeri township , a small but cute little town in the beautiful Bay of Islands. The area is great for exploring the beaches north of here and the Bay of islands.
