Descripción
We are a friendly family in the sunny Bay of Plenty. Mountain bike tracks and walks nearby, plus stunning beaches.
We are a family of four with a dog (Moose the Portuguese Water Dog), a project manager in civil engineering and an educator in social work and counselling. We are a blend of British and Kiwi.
You need to be able to clean and do general work around the house and in the garden.
We are looking for a proactive, down to earth person(s).

Travellers would benefit from an experience of staying with a New Zealand family in a relaxed home. You’d also have chance to speak English and help us enjoy aspects of your own culture and language. From our place there is easy access to areas of natural beauty including Mclaren Falls park, Mount Maunganui and Tauranga as well as nearby Rotorua brimming with cultural heritage.

The bus route is outside our property, taking you into town or the local town centre. There is internet access both at home as well as within areas in town. The area has surfing, MTB, trekking, fishing, diving etc. There is lots to do here.

They put a lot of trust into you and give you quite a lot of freedom while working. They are very generous and provide more than enough food. The boys are lovely too, especially Oakley won my heart! I really miss them already! Being their workawayers has been a great pleasure!
