We're two artists, Dennis & Ayet. We enjoy freeganism (not to be confused with veganism), like dumpsterdiving and we recycle and reclaim as much as we can. In 2009 Dennis was a volunteer at the Lammas Eco village in Wales and worked closely with Simon Dale who inspired him to live alternatively. Ayet finds a lot of joy in creating art with natural materials and gets her inspiration from this place and its surroundings.
We have a vegetable garden and several small natural houses, such as a Treehouse, the Sculptured House and the Bird's House. We built a small outdoor art studio, a small sauna and we have turned the workshop into a meeting space. For 2025 we plan to build a reading room built in the hillside, work in the gardens, pick berries and mushrooms, create art. We have also started an international initiative in which we work with people who want to start and live in eco-communties in our area. If your plan is to move to Sweden and live in a newly created small community, together with other growing communities, another reason to contact us!

We can teach building skills and how to grow and make certain food/drinks. You can join us on dumpsterdive trips. We have a large library with 95% English books. Plenty of practice in English conversations, about authentic life and everything that is connected to it.

We need help with the vegetable garden, weeding, constructing and maintaining of small natural buildings. Help with cooking is optional ;) No experience is needed. We're not looking for experts. If anti-consumerism, autonomy, authentic living and creativity is something that you connect with, feel free to contact us. If you do write us, please don't write one or a few sentences but write about who you are, why you choose us and what your expectations and ambitions are, for example. If you feel consumerism has gone out of control but still expect to have a warm shower every day or every second day, this is not the right place for you. We have to clarify that we don't check how often you shower and that warm showers is what we have.

We live 2 km from a small train station, that brings you to the closest villages in 15 minutes or 30 minutes to the closest city Karlstad. Our place is surrounded by forest and close to swimming lakes.
