  Hi, we are a busy family living on a farm near Bern. We live in a 2 generation household together with our 3 young adult children and a woman working with the animals. Part of our family are aswell 17 horses, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 6 rabbits, 5 turtles, 2 goats, 6 sheeps, 3 geese, 2 ducks, 15 chickens. We love and respect all of our animals and take care of them as much as we would value it ourselves. We also have a large social network and lots of people who are coming and going to our house, so you will get to know a lot of diffrent people/animals but still have the place to retreat.
  
  Since our children have grown up and are at home less and less with jobs and travel we are looking for someone who can support us with household chores, especially with cooking meals! But also for work with the smaller animals, such as cleaning and closing the stables at night, feeding them, etc. Also the large garden needs to be done. If you are handy, there are always things to fix or smaller projects to build. Actually, we are happy for all kinds of help! If you can see what work needs to be done and if you can work independent that would be a plus:) We would ideally like to have someone for as long as possible (at least 2 weeks or more), without too many changes, but we are flexible there too because we know that plans can change. The best thing to do is to just get in touch and we can discuss the details. Also if there are any upcoming questions, feel free to ask. We are open minded people, who haven been travelling a lot on our own and would like to give you the chance to be part of our family and use our home as a base to go explore Switzerland in return for work around 5 h per day, but also this is very flexible and can be talked about!

  Ayuda

  We are mainly looking for someone helping with the houshold, specially cooking, sometimes gardening but also help with looking after the little animals, feeding, putting them into the stables, cleaning out the stables, etc. There is also some practical work to do, like fixing stuff or projects needs doing. The work can vary. But generally we are happy for any kind of help you can offer! So don't hesitate to contact us.
  The help will be around 5 hours per day. We are very flexible and happy to talk about it. Cause we want you to have time for you to go and explore.

  Alojamiento

  Private room with shared bathroom. All food is included. Breakfast individually or, like the other meals, shared with the family. (Most of the family is vegetarian, so no problem if you are aswell)

  We live in a village near Bern, the capital of Switzerland. You can get to the city in about 30 minutes by public transport. From there trains run in all directions. Perfect for trips to another city, to one of the beautiful lakes or the Alps.
