We are an English couple who have been working on our own to bring this beautiful property back to its full glory, but could do with a few extra hands.
We offer accommodation, and fresh home cooked food. We are veggie so no meat or fish, just plenty of homemade cheese, butter and yoghurt (happy to teach how to make these if interested), fresh homemade bread (again can show how). If you fancy it you can also have a go at home cooked pizzas. I do an english version of Melanzano Parmaggiana which is a traditional dish in this area and of course a mean Sunday Roast and Yorkshire Pudding with gravy.
We have two king-size bedrooms and if you like the outdoors plenty of places to put up a tent or park a caravan - electricity connection possible.
We have two female dogs who are friendly. We have a young Rhodesian Ridgeback who is growing fast and loves playing ball, plus our nutty Dalmatian who loves cuddles.
Help could also be needed with looking after the cats and dogs we have rescued and who live in pens outside. And of course our brood of chickens that give us fresh eggs every day.
I also make homemade soaps which I sell at local craft fairs if anyone is interested in seeing how these are made or having a go yourself.
Non smokers only please and no residency applications. Only genuine willing hands. If you want to practice English then we can certainly help. Both of us speak without a broad accent.
Plans for 2025 include:-
1. Putting in a new water tank and running new water connections in the house.
This is so we can turn things off in the house rather than having to rush to the mains connection which is up the hill.
2. Laying slabs in the cat area so its drier over the winter months for the cats.
3. The usual grass cutting and clearing one of the fields so that we can plant olive trees and soft fruits as a cash crop..
4. Painting and decorating inside the house.
5. Taking down an old balcony wall to install more solar panels.
6. Setting the gazebo into a proper foundation.
7. Laying a path through the garden.
8. Installing a new radiator heating system.
9. Moving a woodfired boiler to the animal area to heat in the winter and produce hot water for the garage conversion. The place where the boiler will go also needs tidying up and a new concrete floor laying.
10. If time allows start the garage conversion to accommodation.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Algo más...
We are remote. There is a bus route but it's limited and stops around 6pm each evening.
Modena is accessible by car, about 45 mins away from where its possible to get trains to Venice, Florence etc. The Mazzorati, Ferrari and Lamborghini museums are closeby.
As you would only be expected to work 5 out of 7 days per week we have no issue with dropping into Modena and collecting if want to explore on days off.
There is also a local bus route into Castelorano and Sassuolo where its possible to get the train to Florence and other locations.Un poco más de información

We have a decent internet connection via satellite which I also use for work. Mobile signal here is also pretty reliable, there's 5G on one side of the house and 4G on the other.
Espacio para aparcar autocaravanas
Plenty of room for parking and we can also run a power cable if needed.
