Descripción
Couple in our 40's with an eight year old boy and a six year old girl living in rural Wexford with views of the Blackstairs mountains. We live with our two dogs & two cats & have a small beef cattle farm with three ponies. We have a medium sized garden & an 18 year old forestry plantation behind our house for walks. We're 20 minutes from local beaches & close to major towns.
Please note we have very limited transport links and our farm is a beef farm for meat production.

We would hope to show a positive side to living in rural Ireland. One primary school teacher in the house so we would hope to assist anyone wanting to improve their spoken English.

We are looking for someone who likes to cook and happy to do some very light help around the house.
We have two children who like somebody to play with them sometimes. We are not looking for an Au Pair as we have a childminder for before and after school and a babysitter if we go out. If you do happen to babysit our children during your stay we will pay you for your time.

Syria fitted into our family straight away. She has fantastic cooking skill and is a very hard working. She took great interest in Irish life and culture and fully participated in everything we did. Cathy and Lilly stayed with us for a wonderful week. Cathy likes to keep busy and did lots in the house, cooking, painting and washing windows.
Lilly loves animals and enjoyed helping to feed the calves and ponies. Our children really enjoyed playing with her.

Julia stayed with us for five weeks. She fit in well with our lifestyle and came at just the right time as we were busy on the farm for the first few weeks of her stay and it was lovely to come home to a clean house and dinners.
Julia took part in all our family outings with enthusiasm and we would love to have her back any time.

Ellen and Barry were such a pleasure to stay with. They were both very welcoming and made me feel a part of their lovely family. The work was light, any chores or housekeeping they needed, mostly involving things like cleaning floors. I would highly recommend doing workaway with them!
