We are an English school located in Phnom Sampov village in Battambang province (13km from the city), Cambodia. Our mission is to teach English to poor kids in the rural areas for free. But at the same time, rich kids also have no chance to study English because there are no English schools in the area. Then, we decided to take both the poor and the rich, but we have to charge some money from those who are cable of paying as we are not sponsored by anybody. By doing this, we can help more and more kids to study English. As we are all Cambodians, our English pronunciation is not always appropriate, and we don’t want to pass this to the next generation. Therefore, we are looking for foreign volunteers with acceptable pronunciation who can come and help our students with it.

The volunteers will be able to know lots of culture exchanges from both local teachers, neighbors and the students. Also, they will learn how Cambodian people make their livings in the rural areas. Moreover, you will be trained on how to teach the students. You will also get a certificate of volunteering and being trained as an English teacher.

We require volunteers to be able to help teach English 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday and at least 4 weeks long.

The school will give you a place to stay with wooden bedroom, nice bed, cool fan, fresh air, and clean environment. Unfortunately, you have to share a bedroom with another volunteers sometimes.
For meals, we will provide money for you to eat in nearby restaurant (2mns walk). You will experience different taste of Cambodian food. There’s also kitchen at the house in which you can always cook there if you love to.
On weekends or holidays, volunteers can go visit so many famous historical places, waterfalls, mountains, natural view, ...etc in the province and the other provinces that are bordered with it. Also, volunteers can always go on the school bus for free when they want to visit somewhere.
