  Our place is located on the foot of Monte Amiata, a former volcano with chestnut and beech forests.
  The little stone houses are nested in the midst of olive groves, vineyards and a bit of wilderness, surrounded by hills with medieval villages on top of them.
  
  Just a few minutes walk-away runs a fresh mountain river, perfect for having a bath and swim on hot summer afternoons.
  
  We live off-grid so far: water comes from our well, electricity is provided by a few solar panels.
  
  Our aim is to stay as independent as it makes sense, trying to keep our impact on the land and environment minimal.
  
  Some of the veggies and fruits we eat, come from our land, having the wish and passion to understand how (also by producing food locally) we can create minimal impact.
  We are participating in making olive oil and our own flour as well, a beautiful and rewarding time & experience.
  
  Some projects:
  - culture and horticulture
  - preparing clay for building purposes
  -olive harvest (hopefully from mid/end October)

  We need help with building things like dry walls, reconstructing an old well, cleaning and maintaining the land, making fire wood, maintaining the veggie garden, planting an herb garden.
