Descripción
Lindy and I have a small ski lodge in picturesque Methven after spending time working and travelling around the world.
Our lodge is only 300m from the centre of town which has great pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and other amenities. Methven is close to the mountains which offer excellent hiking, skiing, hunting, and fishing opportunities.
We have volunteered overseas and think we know what makes a good host. While we love travelling, having travellers stay is the next best thing as we love learning about other cultures and experiences.

We love travelling and love learning about different cultures. Here you will see what small town rural life is like in NZ and experience the NZ outdoors.

We are looking for a self-motivated couple who are keen to help us with projects around the lodge.
While some of the help might be fairly basic, we won't ask you to do anything we wouldn't do ourselves. We will try and make the help as fun as possible and will do tasks with you when we can. So, if you are happy to get stuck in with some improvements/projects/maintenance around the lodge, some cooking, and pet care while enjoying what Methven has to offer, please contact us.

Close Methven are the mountains for mountainbiking, hiking or running, great country golf courses, excellent fishing, and the Lord of the Rings site (Edoras).
We are easy going and friendly and love the outdoors.

The work was really fair and easy and the food was great !!
The customer in the ski-lodge were always nice as well & i always had good company. They have a cute puppy who i could take care off, i really enjoyed it.
