Help me beautify my family house and garden on the hills; Verrua Savoia, North West Italy

  Hi! My name is Giulia and I am a 53 years old woman, living in a beautiful village in the countryside near Torino, north west Italy. You may like the place where I live as it is on the hills near Monferrato, where there is an unique wine production as well as beautiful meadows and nature. I am separated and I have 2 kids (17 and 19) who spend some days with me. They are pretty much independent, but I would like to involve them more in the house and garden management. Oh yes, I have a big garden and I would like to fix it better in order to better enjoy the house and the space around it, event planting some vegetables and plants. I work from home 2 days a week and the other 3 days I go to my office in Turin, so you could ride with me to the city sometimes, if you wish. I work in a NGO in the humanitarian sector and sometimes I travel to Africa, so that means that I won't be around for 10 days, more or less. I really like the cultural exchange as a fundamental part of my life and the one of my children. My lifestyle is very informal and I speak, besides Italian, English, French, some Spanish and Arabic!   I am used to travel and I am also used to receive visitors and friends from other places; they love the countryside around here, the food and the small ancient villages. Torino and Milano are not far from here, so you could also enjoy the city and their services, museums. I speak many languages and I love to exchange on lifestyles, cooking (I cook rather well, make my own bread.. I have a wood stove and oven), music, dancing, traveling

  Ayuda

  The house is big and even the space outdoor; they need some maintenance work that I do not manage to do for lacking of time and maybe skills (but I love to learn). So windows need some fixing and even mosquito nets, the garden could be enriched with new plants and some creative works. I am open to proposals in order to beautify the place where I stay and I can make my guests and friends more confortable around!

  I am graduated in Arabic Language and Literature and learnt Moroccan dialect on the field; I have also worked in Tunisia and Egypt. I have also spent a couple of years in the USA, that's how I have improved my English; while Spanish and French I had studied them a long ago but I have always being using French at work, so it's more fluent than my Spanish! And of course I am Italian mother tongue

  Big room with big bed and private bathroom. I like to cook when I am home, expecially on weekends, sometimes I am a bit tired when I come back from the office and appreciate help or if someone else has prepared the meal!

  Public transportation is quite limited where I live, but I can drive my guests around and to the city. Anyway a bus runs twice a day from here and a railway station is 4 Kms away. Having a driving license might be useful!

  I am working from home a couple of days /week and my son is often online for gaming. The connection sometimes is not perfect, but I think it is feasible. I have a big living room with a long table that can be shared for co-working.
