WE CANNOT ACCEPT WORKAWAYERS THIS YEAR DUE TO THE ONGOING RECONSTRUCION IN MY HOUSE: THERE IS NO GUEST ROOM AVAILABLE.
Hi guys, my name is Susanne. I´am a 68 year old woman and own a pottery in famous bavarian Steigerwald.
The pottery is part of my house, which is home to my daughter’s coffee shop as well. My home is located in a small village called Fabrikschleichach with 120 residents in the midst of nature and forest.

If wanted travellers can gain insights from working in a pottery, the living in a small village, enjoy beer & wine tasting (the region is very famous for small breweries and vineyards)...improve their german, have a nice stay in the steigerwald and enjoy coffee & cake (especially on sundays :)).

I can offer you an own room with shared bathroom and kitchen. The bedroom includes a bed for 2 people (couple or friends). You can stay at my place for about three weeks ore more.

In your time off you can explore the region, walking and hiking in the forest and enjoy the nature. Bamberg, a small bavarian city and world cultural heritage is just 30km away (30 min by car). You can also visit the Baumwipfelpfad and enjoy beer and vine in one of the small villages around or during the Kerwas (little festivities on the countryside).
