I prefer short term placements And also Workaways with a good level of English.
I live in a big old house on the outskirts of liverpool well served by public transport. I have a big garden and a variety of animals, 1 dog as my lovely Teddy died this year, 4 cats so you must really like animals! Particularly because our animals see themselves as actually in charge I live alone but the house is invariably full of friends and other visitors. My daughter lives next door.
I need help with general care of our animals which includes cleaning up after them . There is always animal hair everywhere!! My most abused cat is not housetrained! I have a regular sitter when I am away so only need help for when I are at home . I work part time and am interested in finding someone equally crazy about animals as myself!! And someone used to animals from an abusive background
It is a totally non smoking house so non smokers only
For many years I have been a registered charity running a charity shop. I actually closed the shop this year but I can’t quite give up so help in another local shop

I spent a great week at Sue's place in September.
Sue is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I was quite sick with the flu when I got there and she accommodated me so nicely, balancing my tasks while giving me plenty of time for rest and recovery.

Sue was a very kind and generous host. She gave me the room to explore Liverpool and enjoy her very fun and quirky house! She's a very busy woman always helping everyone in her community, so I got to meet lots of people around her, and help her with household and garden tasks she wasn't able to get around to.

Chris and Sue were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, understanding and open-minded. Their pets were all adorably lovely and affectionate.
They were also in a great location to explore Liverpool, as it's just a train away from the city centre.
Very comfortable accommodation as it's a whole room and a bed in the house, too!

stayed in their house for a month, assisting with Sue's house moving and some housekeeping tasks. Sue is super kind, and everyone in the house is welcoming and friendly. The pets, including chickens, cats, and dogs, are all adorable and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and if I have the chance, I will definitely come back next time. 🥹🥰

I really enjoyed my stay with Sue and Chris! They were very flexible with working hours. Sue recommended lots of great places to visit in Liverpool and the surrounding area, I wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much without her input. They were also both very acccommodating of my vegetarian diet. Thank you again for a great time!

This was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for better! Sue and Chris are amazing people and I really felt welcomed into their familly. I spent my merry christimas and new year with them, we had a great time together. I manly work with household and Sue told me exactly what I should do. I'd highly recommend this host!

Lukas transformed our house in the 4 weeks he was with us! He was pleasant friendly and helpful. He was happy to do any jobs that needed doing and got on well with our family of animals.
