Bom dia, hello,
we are a small family , mother Béatrice 42, father Ambo 37 and two girls Mina 12 and Noémie 9.
Some years ago we decided to leave the Northern Europe to live in the South of Portugal ( Algarve) and it s 2,5 years now that we live on our own land.
Béatrice is passioned about horse riding and horses in general, gardening ( growing own food/planting trees). For living she is giving horse riding lessons to children and adults.
Ambo is a skilled carpenter, likes the construction in general and takes care about most of the technical issues on the land and arround the house.
The children like the same as their mother the horse riding, they are also enjoying acrobatics, dancing, arts and a lot more.
We have two male cats and in future we want to have our own horses near the house on our land.
We are living in a wooden house that Ambo constructed and there are a lot of more things to realise.
For us the most important thing is that everybody does what he likes to do.
There are plenty different things you could help us with:
looking after the children, gardening, planting trees, cooking, cleaning and I guess a lot more.
For us it s important that people are motivated and do things with joy.
You could stay in our Caravan or tent (if its available) or your own campervan.
We are not living far from the ocean ( 8 min by car), so when the sea get s warmer it s always nice to jump in the cristal blue water. Lagos is a 30 min by car the next bigger city arround where you find the most things to survive. Budens is only 2 min by car and has a small cafe and supermarket.

You could learn how to build with wood or other materials/ you could learn things about horses. Learning different languages. You can enjoy the calm environment of our place in the nature or hike to the sea to have a nice swim or doing watersports or enjoy the sunset over the ocean.
