Descripción
We have always welcomed, hosted and helped people in need. Whether it would be for traveling, touring or seeking shelter for homeless people, we try to be there when possible.
This time, we though we might continue and ask for a little help.
After 8 years on the road in our gypsy wagon, pulled by our percheron horses Zorba and Victor, we are settling down in central Brittany.
Our non profit organization is welcoming you on its farm.
All tasks are done with us, you will not be left alone.
We need help setting up the farm.
The Family :
the Animals
Zorba, the great percheron horse is our first family member.
Victor is our second pulling horse.
We have two dogs Nasba ans Oscar and a cat Ray.
the Humans
Florian was a gamebrarian (ludothécaire) and was working on an itinerant (I like wandering ludothèque lol) ludothèque.
I, Mickaël, used to manage the technical services for a small town. I like photography, cooking, gardening.
Hosting
We can host in a tent, caravan or in the communal house. Mattresses and bed sheets are provided. You can also use your own duvet.
Meals and work hours
3 meals a day for a maximum of 25hrs of help a week. Usual day schedule starts at 10am, a lunch break between noon and 2pm. Afternoon tasks from 2pm to 5pm.
2 days off per week.
We have life projects of getting as close as possible to mother nature, on an ecological aspect as well as looking after ourselves and others.
We are children of the earth, we are from the Rainbow family!
We try to only eat organic products (vegetables, dairy) from local producers.
We are vegetarians.
So far, we have been making our own washing products and pretty much cooking everything from scratch.

We are testing just about anything from yoga to horseback riding and horse-pulling. You might learn from us just as much as we might learn from you.
Ayuda
Volunteer tasks include (all tasks are done with us):
- Fencing
- Weed cutting
- Shelving
- Gardening
- Cooking for preserves
- Grooming and looking after the horses (under our supervision)
We can arrange to host for a first week and then see whether we have more tasks for the second. You should apply for a one week period.
In 2026, amongst other things, we are planning to:
Build A straw and earth bread oven
Build An outdoor hot tub
Build A shelter for the horses
Construct A horse drawn round baller carrier
Finish the wagon windows
Fix the wagon hydraulic breaks
Build our yurt

I loved our evening talks and our daily wood cutting sessions. We had a short (a few days) but very interesting and joyful hosting experience with Tom.
Tom is very (too?! he is English lol) respectful and well mannered. Well traveled and adventurer, this cyclo-bouddist is fun to be around.
