I was born in Argentina and grew up in San Diego, California. I enjoy building with eco friendly materials. I built an off-grid tiny house out of earthbags, an outhouse out of stone, and a mini pool/hot tub out of earthbags. I have experience with farming, wells, off grid septic system, farm animal care (I've had goats and chickens).
Currently looking for workawayers to help with a garden project and a sustainable building projects.
We are in the mountain area of San Diego, California on a 5 acre property surrounded by BLM land. We are at 4,200ft in elevation. The property is minutes away from Anza Borrego state park and Cleaveland National Forest. The area is known for having the darkest sky (least light pollution) in the region.

I was born in Argentina and speak fluent Spanish. San Diego is a hub for cultural exchange. I host people from all over the world through my rental business of my earthbag tiny house. There are small towns nearby that are rich in culture and history. Workawayers will not be asked to help with any rental business. My main goal is hosting a cultural exchange.

There is space available to park trailers or set up tents. There is also 1 room available in the earthbag tiny house when it is not being rented out. Workawayers will be expected to cook their own meals, there are BBQ grills and propane stove tops available to use. The nearest grocery store is about 12 miles away.

There are plenty of sights to see around the property. We are only 5 minutes away from the world famous Pacific Crest Trail. The San Diego beaches are only 1.5 hours away, I travel into town often and you are welcome to catch a ride with me. There is one form of public transportation around here but it is a very rural area so it's not the most convenient. You are welcome to use the hot tub.

The wifi is in the main house which is usually rented out by rental guests. You are welcome to use the wifi when the house is not being rented. The cell service is very good here.

We have a dirt driveway that is steep and it's a narrow turn from the main road, but I have seen 18 wheelers make it up and I drove my 35ft RV up it. It can still be very difficult to get it up the driveway if you need a large turn radius.

Must be friendly with other dogs. Not allowed to be off leash while there are renters on the property.
